COURTNEY L. FROMBERG
Chicago-based artist Courtney Fromberg explores how we can create and imagine ideas for sustainability and structure through her use of found materials in sculpture. Along with that, Courtney taps into child-like imagination when creating, exposing playful creations in color and form.

Courtney holds a degree in Fashion Design, and was finalist in the Fashion Group International Competition at Chicago's Merchandise Mart. Along with a B.F.A. in Sculpture, Fromberg offers a vast skills set with regard to art and design. Personal ties to the surf industry and the island of Hawaii offer a unique perspective on way of life and culture, and throughout her career, she hopes to make surfing a huge part of her life.

Currently a graduate student on leave in the graduate architecture program at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Fromberg freelances Interior Design, as well as portraiture and artist commissions. In the future, Courtney aims to explore the innovative field of morphogenetic design with a focus on urban farming and health care design.
